Millennials are organizing. According to The American Prospect, young people who entered the workforce in the midst of the Great Recession are calling for seats at the bargaining table, particularly in industries, trades and occupations that have had little or no representation in the past, such as digital media, graduate schools and nonprofits. The magazine cites a Gallup poll indicating that nearly two-thirds of workers under 35 approve of labor unions.
