The Maine AFL-CIO and the state’s teacher’s union have thrown their support behind ‘right-to-strike” legislation in the state, News Center Maine reported.

The federation of 16 locals, representing more than 40,000 workers, and the Maine Education Association held a rally at the Statehouse in Augusta backing the bills. Right now, public employees in the state face jail for if they strike.
