Federal employee unions are vying to rebuild their case against the Office of Personnel Management following a data breach that affected more than 22 million people, reports Bloomberg.
The unions, including American Federation of Government Employees and National Treasury Employees Union, say that the OPM "recklessly disregarded" warnings from their inspector general to bolster its information technology protections. The US Court of Appeals is hearing arguments from the unions and OPM after the unions appealed a ruling by lower courts.
