A majority of the 17 California state firefighters who were fired for drinking during their seven-week academy last year will get their jobs back, reports the Sacramento Bee.
Cal Fire Firefighters are instructed to remain sober during their six-month training period — with the exception of weekends — but they were caught after-hours.
