MTA Metro-North Railroad is hiring Trackworkers to install, repair, maintain and inspect all portions of track, including rail, ties, switches and insulated joints. The application deadline is May 20. No application fee is required.
The starting rate for this position is $20.66 per hour (65 percent of the full rate). The annual wage-progression scale is: Year 1, 65 percent; Year 2, 70 percent; Year 3, 75 percent; Year 4, 80 percent; Year 5, 90 percent; Year 6, 100 percent. The full rate of pay is $31.78 per hour.
