The city is giving tests through June 30 for the position of Environmental Police Officer. You may reserve your test date when you apply. The application fee is $40.
The current minimum salary is $29,110 for the first 26 weeks, rising to $33,395 and then in additional increments to $50,812 after 6½ years. There are three assignment levels for Environmental Police Officers. Appointments are made at Level I and employees may be assigned to higher levels at the discretion of the Department of Environmental Protection.
