The city is looking for Child Protective Specialists to investigate complaints of possible child abuse or neglect. The application deadline is Nov. 30 and the non-refundable filing fee is $68. Tests are also planned for February and June of next year.
The current minimum salary is $47,250 per year. After you complete six months of training and experience, the pay rises to $51,315. After you finish your 18-month probationary period, your salary goes to $54,720.
