As part of a recurring political soap opera that could be called “As the Truth Turns,” the Trump Administration baggage carousel spit out three employees last week who may have been too committed to veracity for their own good.

The biggest name among them, of course, was Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who was said to have grown increasingly disenchanted with President Trump’s making major foreign-policy announcements—like his plan to meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un—without consulting him. There were reports that Mr. Trump never forgave him for allegedly calling him “a bleeping moron” last summer.
